Retail Price: $100

The first signature sneaker of Utah Jazz superstar Donovan Mitchell – the Adidas D.O.N Issue #1 – will be available exclusively via Adidas on July 1 for the consumer-friendly retail price of $100. The kicks will release at Adidas retailers globally on July 5.

The D.O.N (Determination Over Negativity) Issue #1 will debut in a Spider-Man themed colorway that nods to Mitchell’s “Spida” nickname and his love for comics, hence the “Issue #1” moniker. The kicks come equipped with a red and blue mesh construction and Adidas’ Bounce cushioning beneath the silhouette, as well as Mitchell’s logo on the tongue along with white, web-like accents on the three stripes branding and lace cage.

“Determination Over Negativity is a belief that anything is possible no matter who you are or where you come from,” said Mitchell. “I wanted this sneaker to be a symbol of that – for the kid who believes they can do anything.”

Nike Air Max 270 React

Release Date: July 3

Retail Price: $150

Nike’s latest sneaker silhouette – the Air Max 270 React – will make its retail debut on July 3. The kicks comobine Nike’s first lifestyle Air unit, the 270, with the brand’s softest, smoothest and most resilient foam, Nike React, to form a new articulation of Air Max.

According to Nike Senior Sportswear Design Director Dylan Raasch“Instead of no-sew or stitched on panels, the Air Max 270 React is built with a bar tack technique inspired by the Element React 87. This creates the floating eye stay aesthetic.”

Several colorways will be available on July 3, including the colorful “Bauhaus” iteration.
